This internship provides a unique chance to gain firsthand insight into UNICEF’s work, in political strategy, field operations and inter-agency collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you’ll be involved in:
- Analyzing UN development system surveys and ECOSOC discussions
- Monitoring UN Reforms (UN80) and drafting strategic reports
- Supporting high-level Executive Board sessions and briefings
- Coordinating multilateral engagements (e.g. UNSDG, CEB, HLCM)
- Managing internal knowledge platforms and the team’s intranet pages
- Assisting in the preparation of social media content and partner meetings
- Drafting readouts and documents for senior leadership
Learning & Development
Interns will benefit from:

Who Can Apply?
- Recent graduates or currently enrolled in a Master’s program in International Relations, Development, Social Sciences, or related fields
- Proficiency in English (another UN language is a plus)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated interest in multilateral partnerships and children’s rights

- Visa: G-4 visa required for U.S.-based participants (UNICEF provides documentation)
- Insurance: Interns must provide proof of health/accident insurance
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week); can be in-person, hybrid, or remote
